Prospector Info for Library Staff. This site contains a wealth of information about how Prospector works.
Marmot library staff are encouraged to join either of two Prospector lists. Posts include announcements about upgrades, library closures, and system changes, as well as normal committee business.  General Prospector announcements are always posted to both lists (in case you only subscribe to one).

Marketing & Communication

• Mesa County Libraries Prospector Poster (pdf 3.9mb, Jan 2011) illustrates one way your library can promote Prospector. Download the Prospector Poster Template (MS Publisher format) and replace the logo, footer, or any other element to suit local needs. Or contact Marmot if you would like us to provide custom posters for your library.
• Prospector Handout.pdf is another sample, suitable for bookmarks to give away with Prospector loans. Editable .pub format.
• Generic Prospector brochure (MS Publisher format, Jan 2011) was updated by the Alliance to include Marmot libraries. You can download and use it as you see fit. Although the Alliance made the brochure usable “as is,” they expect most libraries may want to brand it and modify it, so there is plenty of blank space for local library graphics and copy.
