• Cleanup Opportunities and Questions
  • Progress Updates for Islandora Migration/Upgrade
    • Parent and Child Collection Objects migrated to sandbox
      • Test/Dummy collections in islandora 7 shouldn’t be in sandbox
      • Notify Marmot of collection object missing that should be there
  • Metadata configuration progress
    • Genre (labeled Item Type in Islandora 7)
      • Sandbox taxonomy
    • Language
    • A rightsstatement.org - required field. Currently 4 options available in islandora 7
      • The site has 12 total options. Are any other options wanted in the new islandora?
        • Committee doesn’t anticipate needing more than the existing 4
  • Transformation script
    • Get parent IDs out of new Islandora
      • PIDs don’t exist in new Islandora, they will be transformed from legacy Islandora to a new ID
    • Change columns from islandora 7 to islandora 2 version
    • Text field clean up (eg. escaped commas \,)
    • Data validation for columns
      • Pika collection setting values
      • Genre/Item Type; Language
      • Rights statements
  • Subject Terms Clean up
    • Main goal: Collect variations into one single search facet option.
  • Files to consult (Google Drive)
    • List of Subject Terms in Islandora 7
    • Duplicate Terms different by capitalization
    • Duplicate Terms different by ending period
    • Add here Terms to change programmatically (via migration)
